AI Voice Agents — handling inbound and outbound business communications

AI Voice Agents for Inbound and Outbound Call Coverage

We have spent well over 12 months training and perfecting voice AI and are now rolling out AI Voice Agents in Australia, UK and USA.

Any communication task your business has, there is a good chance AI can perform it for a fraction of the price of a human.

Jobs like:

  • After hours phone answering — connect with leads and customers around the clock.
  • Front line customer service — never keep customers on hold or in a call queue again.
  • Taking bookings — whether it’s a restaurant table, a room or a skydive you can take bookings around the clock.
  • Making outbound B2B sales calls — When you don’t have the people or time, your Voice AI agent can fill your calendar or order book.
  • Setting appointments — Your voice AI assistant can qualify leads, find available slots in your calendar and fill them.
  • Confirming appointments — Increase your show up rate by reminding prospects or clients of your meeting.
  • Qualifying inbound leads — When you only want qualified leads to make it through to your sales team, your AI Agent can sort the wheat from the chaff.
  • Answering transport timetable enquiries — Repetitive data centric customer queries like bus timetables can be easily answered by a Voice AI Agent.
  • Booking restaurant tables — Reservations, changes to reservations, cancellations, guest number changes are all easily handled by AI
  • Taking take-away food orders — 2 number 57’s a number 62 (no chilli) or maybe a family size deep pan pepperoni delivered. All easily done.
  • Accounts payable or receivable — If the data is on a computer with API access, your Voice AI Agent can answer accounts queries and escalate to a human.
  • Virtual PA — divert your calls to your personal AI assistant.

Whatever a human operator can do, an AI Agent can be trained to do as well, if not better, 24/7 with crystal clear clarity at a fraction of the price of staff or a call centre (even an offshore one).

If you are struggling with hiring for client facing communication roles, experiencing constant staff churn or need to tolerate hard to understand or less than enthusiastic staff then introducing Voice AI agents into your business will make a lot of sense. Not only will you get knowledgable, clear and professional communications, you will also be able to handle communications for a fraction of the cost of human operators or offshore call centres.

If you would like to discuss how a Voice AI Agent might solve some communication challenges in your business, book a discovery call and we can explore the possibilities.

Do AI Voice Agents Sound Robotic?

Up until a few months ago, we would have said yes. The technology was pretty clunky, the voices were unconvincing and there was a fair amount of lag before responses.

The good news is the development we have undertaken over the past 12 months has cured all of those problems. The voices are customisable, natural and have almost instant response rates. You can set the tone and professionalism or lack thereof. It’s up to you.

How do AI Voice Agents know what to say?

If you ever ran into a website chatbot in the past 5 years, you know how limited and frustrating they could be. They knew a limited number of questions and answers and it was your job to try and guess what they were. It wasn’t easy.

We’ve come a long way since those times. Using the power of large language models like ChatGPT coupled with bespoke training models based on your business, products and offers, AI voice agents can hold down a conversation about anything. However we like the training models to be focused on specific tasks or outcomes, like setting an appointment, making a service booking, providing customer service information. So the agent will never be lost for words, but will expertly keep the conversation on track.

You can task your Voice AI Agent to set appointments with your sales team and the conversation including responses to qualifying questions are captured and sent to your CRM along with the appointment.

You can also define circumstances where a live transfer to your sales team is the best course of action.

How do I track what the AI Voice Agent is saying?

All conversations that the voice agent has are recorded and transcribed. If the agent is qualifying and booking sales calls for instance, a record of the conversation is attached to the appointment, so you or your sales team can review what the prospect or customer said prior to the scheduled appointment.

In the initial stages of setting up a voice AI Agent, we will review the conversations together and fine tune the AI model to remove any unwanted responses and instruct the AI agent on better ways to handle any questions or objections that reoccur across multiple calls. The tuning process tkaes a little time, but once settled in the AI comes into it’s own

What does a AI Voice Agent cost?

There are many variables that determine the cost of deploying your AI Voice Agents. These include call volumes, scale, location, concurrent calls and the scope of the integration required.

A single voice Agent development and deploymeny would typically come in at around $900 — $1500 USD, followed by a similar monthly service fee.

This is subject to variations depending on the project.
