Hi, I'm Alan.

I was born in Somerset UK, but now find myself in rural Western Australia.

I started out programming mainframe computers in the mid 1980's before moving to WA and setting up my own Software Development company.

I've always been deep into technology and apart from a few years building and selling an Audio Visual business I have been focused on marketing automation technology, building websites and the copywriting and content that is required to do that well.

I still write content for a few companies, mostly in the tech startup ecosystem however the evolution of AI now has my attention.

Two areas in particular are using Conversational AI agents to reactivate cold lead databases, and the other is developing AI Sales agents that respond to inbound sales enquiries from ads or web properties and then go on to pre qualify the leads and either set appointments or direct the prospect to another desired outcome, like an order page or renewal confirmation.
